You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay using a credit or debit card, but do need one to pay by check. Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event start time to sign in.  This will also give you time to grab a drink before the event begins to mingle with the other singles.

Register today because Raleigh speed dating events sell out quickly.  We stop accepting online signups 5 hours prior to the event start time. If you are not signed up by then you must show up at the event early and pay in cash including a $15 late fee.

Event Details	Friday May 16 – 7:30 (Ages 21-34) Speed Dating & DJ/Band After Party at Buckhead Saloon!!! The DateSwitch event will take place at Raleigh’s newest hot spot – Buckhead Saloon. Buckhead does not start getting patrons out until later in the evening so we will pretty much have the place to ourselves during the event. The event will take place in an area apart from the normal bar and you will have your own private bar and bartender if you wish to drink. After the event stick around and enjoy all Buckhead has to offer and continue getting to know everyone you just met. There will be a great band playing in one area and a DJ in another area. You will already be inside with no cover to pay as the night time crowd starts to come out. So, even once the event is over – the night is just beginning! Note: This event is for new men & women, returning men only. Price: $45 - seats filling up quickly - sign up now to attend!
Event Details	Friday May 30 – 8:00 (Ages 30-45) Speed Dating & DJ After Party at Metro Cafe!!! The DateSwitch event will take place at Raleigh's newest cocktail lounge and wine bar - Metro Cafe in historic City Market in downtown Raleigh. For your privacy, Metro Cafe will be closed to the public during the event. After the event a DJ will start playing music as Metro Cafe opens to the public for the evening. This will make for a very fun after party. It will be something very fun to do so you can stick around after the event and continue getting to better know everyone you just met. So after the event is over, the night will just be getting started! Our events are the easiest way out there to meet other great singles and actually achieve solid dates with people you know you already like. Note: This event is for new men & women, returning men only. Price: $35 before May 16 - $45 May 16 and later
Event Details	Saturday May 31 – 7:00 (Ages 40-55) Speed Dating at Metro Cafe!!! The DateSwitch event will take place at Raleigh's newest cocktail lounge and wine bar - Metro Cafe in historic City Market in downtown Raleigh. For your privacy, Metro Cafe will be closed to the public during the event. After the event Metro Cafewill open to the public for the evening and will be having music going on after the event. It will be something fun to do so you can stick around after the event and continue getting to better know everyone you just met. Our events are the easiest way out there to meet other great singles and actually achieve solid dates with people you know you already like. Note: This event is for new men & women, returning men only. Price: $35 before May 17 - $45 May 17 and later

Information Regarding Age Groups:
Our events do have a wide age range. However, DateSwitch events are large enough so that there will be people in attendance your age regardless if you fall in the very lower or upper end of the age group. If you are on the younger end and worried about meeting people on the upper end of the age group or vice versa – don’t be! There will be plenty of people there around your age. This is also why the age groups overlap a few years. This gives men and women at the lower or upper end of the groups to try two different age groups to see which one they like the best!

People at the Raleigh speed dating events are generally good quality, single people looking to meet someone interested in starting a relationship. If they are too old or too young for you then just relax, enjoy your 5 minutes with them and chances are the next person in line will be more your age. Remember, you have nothing to lose because if you attend the event and the ages that night are not to your liking then you can always circle no to everyone and come back next time for free! The next time out may be perfect for you - every event is different and unique!

Attending a Younger Age Group:
If you are a few years over the age limit for a group, but want to attend it then there may be options for you. In the past we had more flexible age groups and that did not work. So, we went to strictly going by the age group. Since then we have received a lot of interest from people just over the age limit wanting to attend a younger age group. Rather than turning everyone down we have decided to compromise. We will allow 1 or 2 people of each sex to attend a younger age group provided there are seats remaining once registration closes on the event day. You need to email info@dateswitch.com with your name, age, day time phone #, event city, and the event date that you would like to attend. You will be ranked first come, first serve with priority given to those who have already signed up for the event in their age group. So, if you are a 36 year old man and have signed up already for the current 30-45 age group event on the schedule then you will have priority over the 35 year old man who has not already signed up for his own age group event for the month. We will keep you posted as the event date draws close as to if it looks like there will be seats available so you can prepare. Once registration closes if there are still seats open we will allow you to sign up, but you will have to pay the $15 late fee at that time. If you are not willingg to pay the $15 late fee to attend the younger age group then please do not email us to be added to the waiting list.

Men and Women Over 55
If you are over 55 we are sorry that there are no events scheduled for your age group at this time. If you would like us to notify you if we schedule an event for your age group then please email info@dateswitch.com with your name, age, sex, and event city. You will be emailed if there is an event for your age group. We have done events for those 56 and older and will do them when we have enough interested people to do it.  Also, please read the “Attending a Younger Age Group” section above and if you would like to be added to the waiting list for the 40-55 age group then please email us at info@dateswitch.com with your name, age, sex, and event city.

Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds or rain checks as long as the event you are registered for takes place. If something very rare comes up and we happen to cancel the event then you will be refunded your money or allowed to sign up for another event.  Most DateSwitch events sell out. The reason you sign up early for these events is to ensure you have a seat even if it is sold out.  Much like a ticket to everything else, if something comes up and you cannot attend then unfortunately we cannot offer you a rain check or refund. You can, however, sell your spot to a friend who is able to attend. You just need to email info@dateswitch.com and let us know the name and age of the person taking your place. If you do sign up and realize ahead of time that you cannot attend please email us at info@dateswitch.com and let us know if possible. This way at least the host will not be looking for you at the sign in and can tell everyone there to mark you off their sheets. Please do not email us requesting a refund or rain check if you sign up and cannot attend. You signed up early to secure your seat for when the event sells out. Those at the event will already have to have an open round for 5 minutes because you are not there. Previously we offered rain checks if you could not attend and that created some major problems so we are not doing that anymore. It is not fair to those who are attending.

Free Pass Policy
If you do not see anyone you are interested in at your Raleigh speed dating event then you can circle no to everyone there and this will give you a free pass to return. We do not guarantee matches – if you circle yes to one person, regardless if you match with them or not, then you would not be eligible for the free pass. The free pass is there so that you do not have to worry about attending an event and there not being anyone at all that you are interested in and you being out $35. Now you don’t have to worry because if that is the case then you get to come back for free and you don’t lose anything! You are only eligible to receive one free pass per paid event. It is very rarely the case that someone does not like anyone at an event, but the free pass is in place just in case.

DateSwitch is not responsible for what happens at any meetings between individuals we have connected you with, at the event, or in future meetings of any kind. DateSwitch participants agree by signing up for an event that they will indemnify and hold DateSwitch and its subsidiaries, affiliates, venues, officers, agents and other partners and or employees, harmless from any damage, claim or liability.
